Why is everyone Jonesin' 4 Cupcakes?

About a year ago I started bringing cupcakes to my runner friends, you know fuel for after a long run or just a sweet treat for being so awesome. They convinced me that my cupcakes were so tasty I needed to sell them. I didn't argue too much because I hadn't found a cupcake shop locally that I really was that impressed with and I love baking. My friend runs a bakery about 30 minutes away from where I live and I loved that her cupcakes actually tasted like they were advertised. Imagine that a cupcake that lives up to it's name. I mean if you are advertising a Banana Pudding Cupcake, it better taste like banana pudding. But don't get me started on that rant.

So I started small with a Facebook page www.facebook.com/jonesin4acupcake, and that grew pretty quickly. I added a webpage www.jonesin4cupcakes.com, email, and twitter account but the Facebook page still draws the most business. I have lost count of how many flavors I offer. It's over 30 I know for sure. In December thanks to being laid off of my full time job I took Jonesin' 4 Cupcakes full time. I am a sponsor for my running group now and have an upcoming charity run this weekend. I've raised $1000 for Children's Miracle Network all in the name of cupcakes.

I am a homebased bakery. Yes I would love a cupcake truck or my own storefront. So if you know of an investor who would love to back my awesome cupcakes then please send them my way. Until then I will continue to bake love into every tasty little cupcake.
